He is safe for beginner riders, but should only be ridden lightly (he can do 1-2hr trail rides, but no all day rides) and by riders who are under 150lbs. Very calm, safe, and friendly. Good for beginner riders and young kids. Leads, loads, ties, stands for farrier. Does not crib or chew on wood. Would prefer to walk, but will trot and canter when asked. No horse traders, please. He will pop into a short lope that is super comfortable to sit and smooth. He is very quiet to be around and has no bad habits and no vices. He is also 100% sound. This is a hard to come by size of mule, that rides like one should, with the great color and has the ground manners that all mules should have. This mule wants to please you and to make you happy. Phenis is broke to ride and drive. We have had him and his sister hitched up together several times last summer. I also have her for sale on here. Been on a couple of informal trail rides where she is boarded. Done a couple of parades within 5 days of each other in August 2011 Despite all that was going on around her, she was quiet. Has ridden english. You can put her in a snaffle or a curb bit and she's fine. Light in the bridle, meaning that it takes little effort to stop or turn her. Serious inquiries only. No first time horse owners please only because a beginner would hang on her mouth and she doesn't need to not know relief from bit pressure. Anyone with riding experience can ride this mare.
